First let me start by saying that it's not Monday yet for me. I haven't really been to bed yet. I've slept for a couple hours, but I've been obsessing with this hurricane stuff. As you all know my passion in life is to become a hurricane specialist.

Aaahh, I also should say taht I've been such a nerd today. Such a nerd, but at least I can admit it! HEHE. SO, yesterday (Saturday) I watched the stuff all freaking day and into the wee morning hours. After getting a few hours sleep, I decided it was time to flip on the TV again for an update, and low and behold that thing was up to a CAT 5! Wow. Umm, but scary. That is where it goes from fascinating to scary for me. I am so nervous for all those people down there. And so all day today I've flipped from the Weather Channel to MSNBC and CNN ALL DAY!

I am just amazed with these storms, but even with that said, I wish they didn't have to happen. They are very scary and cause so much damage and chaos. So while watching early this morning I realize that the thing is headed right for New Orleans, and that is not good. New Orleans is up to 20 feet below sea level in some places, and they are calling for a storm surge of up to 28 feet. Devasting. I just pray for all those people that couldn't get out.

Well, I've been back and forth from the computer to the TV all day. And I think I should a couple hours of sleep in before this thing makes landfall. You know I will have to see that stuff!
